Lecture: Educational Leadership and Dangerous Behaviors

This lecture opens by defining dangerous behaviors engaged in by adolescents: inordinate Internet surfing, alcohol and drug consumption, violence, gambling, and others), as well as the failed responses to these behaviors.

Dangerous behaviors will be characterized and causes of danger elucidated, followed by suggestions for effective responses.

The lecture combines knowledge from the fields of child development, family therapy, and organizational consulting with case studies taken from the lecturer’s personal and professional “file”. Includes a slide show combining video segments for illustration. Please prepare a projector, screen and speaker and laptop hookups.
